Experience I remember when I was 10 years old and were about to redecorate my room. I convinced my parents I knew exactly what color I wanted to pain my walls in. I had the color all figured out in my head and in order to get the perfect result and I made sure to get different color samples from the store, I realised the color would change depending on the lighting and size of the room. After many test i finally got the perfect result. I also remember looking over the shoulders of my uncles, that are both architects. What amazing things they could draw, I recall thinking. After they left our home I pulled paper and pencils out to start drawing my room to scale. Looking back at these memories make it so clear to me, I was always destined to work with interior design. This is more than work for me, this is my passion.

During my time in Dallas I was lucky enough to get in touch with this wonderful company. My first internship let to a second and the second to a third, the two last ones in New York. These opportunities made me realise what I wanted to work with, hospitality design. Designing for the people, creating the most beautiful environment in the world & being surrounded by the best of the best was heaven to me.

About
HBA London
Hirsch Bedner Associates has so many projects on & being part of that is truly amazing. I worked on residential, private apartments & large hotel project during my time at HBA. It was interesting to observe the differences between a European based office vs. American. The knowledge I gained about suppliers and workstyles is something I will forever take with me and try to share with you here.
